WebJan 14, 2011 · I figure 185K miles on an original 47RE is enough. All I have done to it is change fluid every 30K. Still runs fine, but RPM's WOT are pushing 2,850 RPM real hard. Dave's set up keeps it around 2,400. Thats alot of wasted torque not getting to the ground for my truck. "99", 210K miles on Original VP44.
